Megan Douglas, ND
Megan Douglas is a qualified naturopath, medical herbalist, educator, and product innovator with more than 30 years of experience in natural health, nutrition, herbal medicine, and wellness.
A fifth-generation herbalist, Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Complementary Medicine and has practiced extensively in clinical settings, supporting patients across areas including metabolic health, hormones, digestive wellness, stress management, and skin health. She has also lectured in Herbal Medicine and Natural Health at Wellpark College in New Zealand, helping train the next generation of practitioners.
Over the past 15 years, Megan has specialized in the development of natural health and beauty products, combining traditional herbal wisdom with modern nutritional and botanical science. She is Founder and Product Creator of The Organic Skin Co., an internationally distributed certified organic skincare and wellness brand recognized for its commitment to holistic wellbeing, sustainability, and innovative formulation.
Megan's particular interest lies in the relationship between nutrition, lifestyle, skin health, longevity, and whole-person wellness. Her work focuses on helping bridge the gap between traditional herbal medicine, modern nutritional science, and consumer health solutions that support wellbeing from the inside out.
Sal Abraham, PhD
Sal Abraham, PhD, MS, RDN, LDN, is a recognized nutraceutical executive, registered dietitian nutritionist, licensed dietitian nutritionist, and healthcare professional with a BS in Nutrition, MS in Nutrition and a PhD in Health Sciences.
Dr. Abraham has 30 years of experience in the dietary supplement, functional food, sports nutrition, and consumer health industries. Throughout his career, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams spanning research and development, clinical research, scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, quality systems, and product development for some of the most recognized brands in the health and wellness marketplace.
Dr. Abraham currently serves as Vice President of Quality, Regulatory, and Scientific Affairs at Growve, where he oversees scientific strategy, regulatory compliance, and quality systems across multiple product categories, including dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, medical devices, and pet supplements. He is an active member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Sports, Cardiovascular, & Wellness Nutrition (SCAN), Institute of Food Technology (IFT), International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN), National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM), and Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).
Max Willis, MBA
Born in Italy to a family of doctors and pharmacists, Max was exposed early to medicine but focused his career on natural and integrative medicine. Max has 26 years of dietary supplement experience, having created thousands of products for the largest brands in the industry. Max served as Chief Science and Innovation Officer at Better Being Co. (formerly Nutraceutical Corporation) where he worked for 25 years. For most of his tenure, he oversaw Solaray, one of the largest brands sold in health food stores and pharmacies globally. Max has lectured around the world on vitamins, minerals, herbs and specialty supplements. His particular interest is in the microbiome, bioidentical hormones and how to use natural and herbal medicine with or as an alternative to prescription drugs. He currently serves as Executive VP over Innovation and Global Expansion at Growve, a $500 million-dollar dietary supplement aggregator. Max lives in Utah with his family where he loves to ski in the winter and run, hike and go on herb walks in the summer.
Dr. Barney, MD
Paul Barney, MD is Growve’s medical advisor and author of the Doctor’s Guide to Natural Medicine. He has been a primary care family physician and involved in emergency medicine since 1982. Trained and certified in hyperbaric medicine and wound care, he has incorporated his expertise in natural medicine into his practice. Dr. Barney has been a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and served on the State Board of Acupuncture. His acupuncture training led him to explore the use of herbal medicine. Becoming an expert in this field has allowed him to lecture extensively on the subject. Dr. Barney has been using herbs in his medical practice since 1992, authoring many books on herbal medicine and its therapeutic benefits. He and his wife recently returned from serving a medical mission in London, England.
